| Very Impressed.
One of the founding fathers of heavy metal in the 70's, former vocalist of Judas Priest (the band that practically invented speed metal) after releasing two post Priest solo albums, brings forth his third. The cover and album title say it all. Seated on his Harley, it is clear that he has returned to his roots and is back with the sound that brought Priest into the realm of metal greatness. This album's style is very much like the "Screaming For Vengeance" era of Judas Priest.
Contains a co-written duet with Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, "The One You Love To Hate" |
A few slow spots and filler.
Track 6: Was disliked by most of the review panel. |

| While it is nearly impossible to improve on the original versions of these classics, most of these artists have approached them with great respect.
This is great way to sample some of the newer metal bands. Hearing them play songs, which are already familiar to most of us, is an effective test of their overall style.
The recent trend of metal tribute albums was sparked by the earlier success of Nativity In Black I. This second album lives up to all the expectations generated by the first. |
Track 12: While this artist may be well respected within his own genre; for some it may seem like an inappropriate choice of music style to include on an album which would appeal almost entirely to fans of metal. |

| Queensryche offers the sound they are famous for with a slightly updated approach.
At times they are sometimes heavier than expected.
They managed to further develop their style, without discarding their roots. |
May be slightly on the simplified side for their more cerebral fans.
Has an almost alternative flavor at times. |
